Welp, we're officially into the denouement! Which is French for wrapping all the nonsense up ;)

PS I originally had a bit here where it was mentioned that Basil was now Prime Councillor, but it didn't really add anything, so I took it out. Plus, that might have been a bit too fast of a turn around on a (non-interim) state leader, realistically - it isn't outright stated, but I imagine this scene taking place about 2-4 weeks later.
