In case you were wondering, yes fairies DO have stairs, but the academy is a pre-decline building, meaning that it was built before fairies lost their wings, and thus would have had no need of stairs between floors.

Added bonus for me, since I hate drawing stairs, but not so much fun for Felix trying to get up a ladder with two bags!
