Was Callisto heavily influenced by a lifetime of being told that the Prophecy is true by adults she trusted? Absolutely. But all those adults were also once children under that same influence, so do they get to keep passing the buck back too? No. At some point, its YOU that's making a choice to continue along with it. So those adults definitely bear some culpability in being a link in the chains that dragged her down into this mess, but Callisto is also right that she has to acknowledge that she had outs and chose not to take them, and that's on her.
